Original WWII Polish Eagle Cap Badge – Middle East (Palestine, 1940)
This is a rare and authentic Polish eagle cap badge issued to soldiers of the Polish Armed Forces in the East (PSZnZ), produced in Palestine from autumn 1940.
The badge was worn by Polish forces evacuated from the USSR and reformed in the Middle East under British command. These units later became part of Anders’ Army and saw combat in North Africa and Italy.
Two-tone (silver and brass) finish
Curved shape to fit a military cap (rogatywka)
Threaded post with hex nut – less common fastening style
Authentic wartime manufacture with visible aging and patina
Note: The nut screws only halfway down the post due to thread wear (see photos).
